At a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist.  I absolutely love working with my hands, being creative and seeing my guests' faces light up when they love their hair.  My favorite thing to do at the salon is color - "dimensional" color!  This includes- but is not limited to- blonding, balayage, foiling and "lived-in" color.

     With the hair industry changing ever so rapidly,  I decided after more than 20 years working for a top salon, that it was time to go on my own: Enter...Let There Be Lightener!!!  My goal is to cultivate an environment that nurtures my artistic growth and potential in today's ever evolving hair industry, while YOU, my guest, enjoy a comfortable workspace and one-on-one customized hair service treatments.

 

Since then, I have received Best of Lexington and am recognized for my attention to detail when it comes to blonding, lived-in highlights, grey blending, custom and dimensional color.

     On my days off, you will find me spending time with my two beautiful daughters, family and friends.  I love to hike with my dogs, chill on my porch swing, and spend time in nature. Attending lots of hair classes and educating myself on the current trends allows me to put the latest twists on traditional favorites!
